CynoFlip turns PDF files into interactive flipbooks you can share. This policy explains what we collect when you use the service, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the CynoFlip website, your dashboard, and the public flipbook pages you publish.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. Your email address and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile details from Google instead of a password.
- Content you upload. The PDF files you upload, the flipbooks created from them, and the settings you choose (title, share link, colours, logo, access password, visibility).
- Viewing statistics. When someone opens one of your flipbooks we record a view count and the time of the view so we can show you analytics. We do not build advertising profiles of your readers.
- Technical data. Standard server and security logs, such as IP address, browser type and request time, used to keep the service running and to detect abuse.
2. How we use it
We use your information to create and display your flipbooks, to operate your account, to enforce plan limits, to show you analytics for your own flipbooks, to protect the service against abuse, and to reply when you contact us. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell or share your uploaded files.
3. Who can see your files
Uploaded PDFs are stored privately. A flipbook is only reachable by other people when you mark it as public, and links to protected flipbooks require the password you set. Files are served through short-lived links generated on our servers, so a shared link cannot be used to browse your storage. Private flipbooks are visible only to you and to CynoFlip staff who need access to operate or support the service.
4. Service providers
We rely on third parties to host the application, store files, send account emails and process payments. They act on our instructions and only receive the data needed to perform their part of the service.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, to remember interface preferences, and to remember which page of a flipbook you last read. These are required for the service to work; we do not use third-party advertising cookies.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep your account data and files for as long as your account is active. Deleting a flipbook removes its file and its public link. Deleting your account removes your flipbooks and files, apart from limited records we must keep for security, billing or legal reasons.
7. Your rights
You can access and update your account details from your settings page, download or delete your flipbooks at any time, and ask us to delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to a copy of your data or to object to certain processing. Contact us and we will help.
8. Children
CynoFlip is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email before the change takes effect.
10. Contact
